The HaitiCure Apostolic Team
We are zealous to see Jesus honored and followed! We want every person, family, institution and culture to find life in Him – this is the true path of peace for the community of man. This requires that communities of Christ become shining examples of life together in His peaceable kingdom. We believe the first step towards this vision is the rediscovery of apostolic function and ministry. Therefore, we distinctively focus on:
Apostles and their teams – from all walks of life. There are many Ephesians 4:11 types of people in both the clergy and in the marketplace who don’t understand their calling. We know that many apostles will be found in the marketplace, not just in the clergy. This is a highly leveraged and strategic focus.
Learning Communities – forming intentional and committed cohorts of apostles and their teams. Sometimes this means forming Learning Communities of all kinds of people, fishing for the apostles and apostolic team members among them.
Learning Process – we use a powerful form of community learning sometimes called “shared inquiry”, “discussion-based learning” or “Socratic discussion”. We avoid simple information transfer through school-based models.
Learning Hermeneutics – from a Biblical theology perspective and kingdom metanarrative frame. The aim of the Learning Community and Learning Process is a new way of reading both the Scripture and the apostle’s world, in order for the apostle to steward the gospel of the kingdom and establish local kingdom communities.
“We help communities of Jesus Christ become beautiful and believable in their life and message, for the blessing of the community of man . . .
- By training apostles and their teams in community,
- In the context of the mission of establishing local kingdom communities
- In Jesus’ gospel of the kingdom.”
